An avid concert-goer, music is one of Rev. Nathan’s biggest personal passions, and he has credited it with saving his life. Rev. Nathan says that if he didn’t feel a call to ordained ministry and social-justice organizing, he would probably want to be a full-time music writer. In 2013, he started “Hard Times No More,” a personal blog to review new Americana, bluegrass, and traditional country albums and follow Americana and country news.
Work, school, life, and parenthood have kept Rev. Nathan from updating the blog much over the last few years, but he tries to post a new album review from time to time, and hopes to have a larger revival one day.
